Mummu Media becomes Mummu Sport

Helping Sports Win

 

Since launching in 2010 as a unique Australian sports travel company, Mummu Media has dramatically expanded its operations. Mummu now operates globally in areas including travel logistics for major events and governing bodies, commercial and strategic advisory as well as launching new subsidiaries in sports insurance and athlete management from its offices in Australia and Europe.

 

The growth of the travel, logistics and advisory practices have refocused Mummu’s communications with its partners, clients, associates and customers and as a result, Mummu Media is very excited to announce that it has undergone a rebrand and will now be referred to as Mummu Sport, reflecting its core value of ‘Helping Sports Win.’

 

Mummu Sport, Co-Founder and Director of Strategy and Rights, Adam Jacoby said, “We are terribly excited about this rebrand. As a specialist sport organisation we feel that our new brand better reflects who we are, what we are doing and where we are heading. Our growth reflects our expertise in and commitment to the sports industry and our name change makes our activities less ambiguous.”

 

Having recently completed a round of growth funding, the Mummu board and executive team has expanded, bringing a mix of experience and broad global business acumen to the strategic table. The result has been expansion into Europe and across new areas of the sports market where Mummu’s research has uncovered significant potential commercial opportunity.

Mummu’s existing brands including; Mummu Cycling and UCI Travel will continue unchanged. Mummu Media will no longer be associated with its joint venture, Phil Anderson Cycling Tours and will move all Grand Tour travel activities, including the enormously popular Tour De France into our UCI Travel entity, a global leader in cycling travel.

 

Mummu Sport will also shortly be releasing details about its two new businesses, Mummu Insurance and Mummu Talent Management, which will complement our commitment to ‘Helping Sports Win’. Stay tuned for further details!
